Tarot Reading for the Full Moon in Aquarius August 1, 2023
Just Do It — but only if you really want to
Happy August, Lughnasadh, and Full Moon! There’s a lot going on today, and maybe some of you were up late/early watching the World Cup, — or casting spells — so I’m going to get right to the point.
But if you want to read more, I wrote a longer post a couple of days ago — you can find it right here.
Last Full Moon’s tarot reading was a big hit, so I’m back for more. Like last time, I shuffled the cards with the intention that the messages coming through would be relevant to everyone who reads this. Regardless of where you are in the world and what phase the moon’s in when you read this, know it’s meant for you.
Aquarius Full Moon Tarot Reading
Blessings: Page of Wands
Be like Nike and Just Do It. The Page of Wands brings a message of momentum, joyful movement, and dynamic energy. It’s time to break out of the box. A new path is opening up before you, now.
Exactly how this card manifests for you depends on where you’re at in your adventure. If you’ve been feeling inspired to make a change and have a clear goal in mind, now’s the time to take the first step. Think of it like sitting on a swing. All you need to do is kick your legs to get things in motion. The momentum will pick up from there and things will seemingly fall into place.
If you feel a fire in your belly but don’t know what to do or where to begin, someone or something new is about to enter your life. Because this is a Page, inspiration may come through a child or youthful spirit.
Moving your body will help you gain clarity. Running, yoga, dancing, and any form of playful movement will help you get out of your head and into your body.
Challenges: 10 of Wands
Be mindful not to burn yourself out. This card also carries the warning, “Be careful what you wish for.”
The dream you’re manifesting may come with an increase in responsibilities. You may end up feeling overburdened or like you’re being pulled in a million directions.
Remember it’s up to you to decide what to carry and what to put down — even temporarily.
You can have it all, but maybe not all at once.
On the flip side, if you’re not feeling overworked at all, this card can nudge you to push yourself a little harder.
Action: The High Priestess
I love this because The High Priestess is sooooooo not an action-oriented card! Her mysterious, mystical energy is kind of contradicting the fiery energy of the wands in this reading (#leoszn). But, dang, is she great for working with the Full Moon.
So here’s what she has to say: Follow your inner voice. Trust your intuition. Now is not the time to be shouting your dreams and desires from the rooftops, or even whispering them softly to people who may be critical or condescending.
Sometimes when we get really excited about something and share it too soon, hearing a discouraging message from someone we trust can painfully burst our bubble, even if that’s not their intention.
The action here is to sit with yourself in quiet contemplation. Use tools like journaling, meditation, and any spiritual practices you have to harness your intuitive powers. Only listen to your inner guidance right now, and no one else’s.
And if you’re already walking a wild new path, this card is affirming you’re moving toward your highest potential. Go You!
If you have your own tarot deck, now’s an excellent time to pull a few cards for yourself. And if you need recommendations, these are the decks I’ve been using: The Herbal Tarot & Santa Muerte Tarot. And I always recommend The Smith Rider Waite deck for new learners.
