I don’t know about you, but I haven’t stopped crying since the Farmer’s Dog Super Bowl ad last night. Jason and I have four dogs, — two of whom are active seniors — and they’re our children. If you have a furever friend, give them some extra love from me!

This week we celebrate Valentine’s Day, and even if you think it’s overly commercialized — as I do — it’s still a potent time to renew your commitment to love. All kinds of love. Platonic love. Love for yourself. Love for the community, Mother Earth, for life itself. Chani Nicholas explains it better in her weekly podcast.

I’ve spent the past week recovering from what my friend described as “a good, old-fashioned head cold.” I haven’t had much energy, and I’m still catching up with work!

So, I thought I’d practice some self-love and compassion by putting together an easy post of my 15 favorite quotes on the topic of love (the one up top plus the 14 that follow).
